My impressions from Finland
My name is Alex Dimitriu and I'm 16 years old and I'm from Romania. This year I've participated at the Comenius Week from Tampere, Finland. I had a really unique experience in this country.
First of all I remarked that the Finns are very friendly people and they are very sociable too.
The Finnish school system is one of the best in the world because the lessons are very flexible and interactive. Teachers are also very smart and communicative.
Life in this Scandinavic country is a little bit different from life in Romania. One really different thing that we don't have in Romania and I found out in Finland was the sauna, place in which people go each week to relax.
I can say that the Comenius Week really taught me something. First, I was able to meet new people, new culture, new cities and to improve my English writing and speaking. Second, I realized that Europe has to be united so we could communicate one with each other, share opinions, ideas and work together on different projects. Teens from every European country have to meet and communicate. Communication is the most important thing on Earth. Without communication we won't be human being any more.
Finland has also some beautiful nature views. On my stay in Finland I was able to visit the National Finnish Park where there was still snow so we could go cross-country skiing.
The Finnish food is very good too. Most of all I liked the salmon and the donuts. They are really really good.
Visiting this country and learning lots of things from the Comenius Week program I can recommend you Finland as the ideal place to go in the next European week.
