Question: How do you see the future of
mankind? Does it move you? Explain why?
English answer: Mankind will become more civilised, but fighting will go on. We will become more
politically, socially, financially aware, but less traditionally, culturally
aware.
German answer: Mankind will die sometime. I'm sure, not in my
lifetime, but mankind is destroying themselves and their environment. Yes, i
feel sorry about it. I'm angry and disapointed at once. Mankind should be
more intelligent and should not prepare their own death.
Rumanian answer: This is a question we can only speculate on,
because we cannot give a certain answer. Personally I think mankind has the
ability to build a bright future for it self, but only if we really want to.
People have got stuck with the idea that they can trash the world any way
they want to like their private property. This is not true.
Comparison of Questions answred by students of
different countries. They expressed completely different opinions
about the future of mankind.
Romanians think mankind is able to create a
bright future for them, but mankind doesn't want to.
English students care about traditions,
because the world is becoming more and more futuristic.
Germans think that the world will be destroyed
in many years by mankind.

What is necessary in order
to lead a satisfied life?
English answer: Respect for others' wishes and to follow your inspirations and
dreams.
German answer: To be satisfied in future, i need my own company at
age of 30, c. 1Million Euro and a good-looking wife.
Romanian answer: Love, freedom, and a good CD player!
The 12th question (What is necessary in order
to lead a satisfied life?) was more personal for the students.
Rumanian students don't need many material
thinks to be satisfied. They only need love and freedom.
English think about other people. You should
respect them and follow your own dreams.
Germans want to have a family, a job and money.
