on European Popular Wisdom
Proverbs
from European countries involved in the Comenius project
Proverbs
are simple expressions of popular wisdom. Thy offer advice or explanations on
how we should feel about events that occur in our lives.
They offer simple explanations
about problems that all human beings can come across, and consequently it seemed
interesting to put in common three proverbs chosen by the
delegates of each country, to see if the drawings rang a bell in each
participant ( which they nearly always did) .
They offered the translation they could and finally chose three emblematic
proverbs or recommendations for European partners
