1) Should We Have Access To Healthcare And Welfare Services Anywhere In The EU?

• Many people said YES. It would be fair for everyone to have access to healthcare and welfare – maybe you remember...

ALL ARE DIFFERENT YET ALL EQUAL!

 2) One Should Have The Ability To Travel Where They Want In The EU

• YES. Because travel is important...

·        For meeting new people

·        For holidays

·        For new/better jobs

·        For work purposes

·        To see friends

 3) Is It Necessary To Have An EU Government? Does One Exist?

• It is necessary but it would be difficult to start because Europe and the EU are very big, there are so many languages, all the countries have different laws. But it would help bring people together and stop racism.
• There is no EU government at present.

 4) Citizen’s Rights

• We need to respect each other, and each other’s rights, and views (what they think).
• We should create trade unions.
• Improve the constitution.
• But people have to learn their rights.

 5) Should One Be Allowed To Vote In Any EU Country?

• It would be good because everyone could ‘have their say’.
• People’s different attitudes could cause a problem.
• Is it right to have two votes?

 6) European Culture

• With similar cultures there would (maybe) be less racism, fear of others, etc.
• BUT unique and different cultures makes life interesting, tradition makes a country what it is.

 7) How Can We Create More Jobs?

• There weren’t many ideas here, but maybe we could start studies and investigations – therefore creating jobs.
• We could build things – creating new jobs.

8) Is A Bigger EU A Better Future?

• YES...

·        It would get rid of poverty.

·        BUT the poor would become richer, the rich become poorer.

·        There would be more jobs

·        Loss of cultural diversity

·        We could be A BIG HAPPY FAMILY!

 SUMMARY

     Everybody wants a bigger and better Europe BUT we acknowledge there are problems to be solved.
