Sinä ja neljä ystävääsi aloitatte
ketjukirjepelin seuraavilla säännöillä: Lähetätte viidelle ystävälle kirjeen,
jossa pyydetään saajaa lähettämään suklaalevyn nimilistassa (jossa on teidän
kaikkien viiden nimet) ensimmäisenä olevalle, pyyhkimään tämä nimi pois
listasta, lisäämään oma nimi viimeiseksi ja lähettämään muutettu kirje viidelle
henkilölle niin, että vastaanottaja saa ketjukirjeen tasan viikon kuluttua.
Kuinka monta
suklaalevyä saisitte yhdessä, jos kukaan ei katkaise ketjua sinä aikana, kun
teidän nimenne on listassa?
You and four of your friends start a
chain-letter game with the following rules: You send a letter to 5 of your
friends asking to send a bar of chocolate to the first person on the list of
names (which is comprised of the names you and your friends). After that the
first name is removed from the list and the chain-mail participant adds his/her
own name at the bottom of the list and sends the letter with the changed list
to 5 of his/her friends who receives them a week later.
How many
chocolate bars would you and your friends receive all together, if nobody broke
the chain during the time your name was on the list?
2. Koiranpentu kotona
Virtaset asuvat Tampereella ja heillä
on koiranpentu kotona. Tiina lähtee kävelemään koulusta kotiin samaan aikaan
hänen siskonsa lähtee kävellen kotoa kouluun, jolloin koiranpentu jää yksin
kotiin. He kohtaavat toisensa tasan kello 12. Kuusitoista minuuttia yli
kaksitoista sisko saapuu kouluun ja 25 minuuttia yli 12 Tiina saapuu kotiin.
Molemmat kävelevät tasaista nopeutta.

Family Virtanen lives in Tampere and
they have a puppy. Tiina Virtanen starts walking from the school to home at the
same time that her big sister Anna leaves from home and starts walking towards
the school. During this time the puppy is home alone. The two sisters pass each
other at exactly 12 o'clock. 16 minutes past noon Anna arrives at the school
and 25 minutes past noon Tiina arrives at home. Both sisters walked at an even
pace.

exact. What we ment was that the girls leave at the same time and they walk at
constant speed. But they walk with different speeds. Hopefully this clarifies
the problem! )
